This system enables for
"rapid" changing of molds, spiders, and grates on the machine arm - with a
single bolt.
This system was developed by Scotsman, located in Fairfax,
SC. They have used this system in production for many years and granted
Lakeland Mold permission to market this product to the Rotomolding industry.
The system is comprised of two components a rotobase that
is permanently mounted to the machine arm and a universal mold plate that is welded into
the framework of the mold, spider or universal grate. The base utilizes a moving jaw,
operated by a single drive hex bolt, to encapsulate the universal mold plate.
